[BUG]: not a valid Win32 application

What happened?

The command gh copilot suggest\explain\config *** leads to an error failed to run extension: fork/exec C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\GitHub CLI\extensions\gh-copilot\gh-copilot.exe: %1 is not a valid Win32 application. in my PowerShell.

Versions

gh version 2.73.0 (2025-05-19), gh-copilot v1.1.0, PowerShell v7.5.1, Windows11 24h2

Any further comment would be appreciated.

This issue has been raised in the past (See #6) and the solution is to upgrade gh and reinstalling the gh-copilot extension.

Can you please follow these steps and let me know how it went?

1. Upgrade gh to the latest version, if not already done.
2. Remove the existing extension installation via:

   gh ext remove gh-copilot

3. Re-install gh-copilot:

   gh ext install github/gh-copilot
   

4. Run gh copilot explain ls and see if it's working.

After upgrading gh and reinstalling the gh-copilot extension, there is a new error:

failed to run extension: exec: "C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\GitHub CLI\extensions\gh-copilot\gh-copilot": executable file not found in %PATH%

And I have to add this path to %PATH% manually.
Now it works properly.
