I am happily using renovate to update my helm charts, which works pretty well now.
I stumbled upon a strange issue where renovate seems to find the update, but does not create a PR as it discards it or ignores it? This only seems to happen for linuxserver images that have a custom versioning scheme (vX.Y.Z-lsABC).
I have a custom regex manager using these lines in a Chart.yaml:
I can see in the logs that the update to
v2.7.6-ls328is found (see below). But then it states the current version is the fixed version (bigger part of the log see below)?I previously did not specify any versioning, then it did not propose any update.
Using
looseversioning, it proposed an update to on old image from 2021 (which technically is correct, if you just compare the version numbers). Now I do not get any MRs for heimdall any more.
Same goes for hedgedoc, it finds the image for
1.10.3-ls173but does not propose an update.(
Although in this case it could be because there is no leadingThe regex should work with or without thevin the image's version. I'll try somethingv).Any ideas, what I can try?
Kind Regards,
Johannes
