Why are wikis required to have public repos or paid orgs? #178617

You are right github pages and wikis are not available for private repositories unless your organization is on a paid plan. |

On private interal projects in orgs requires either a public repo or a the repo must be under a paid org. This is kind of annoying as there is no way to my knowledge to easily host docs for private projects as both pages and wikis are both paid for private projects or require public repos.
