Yeah, i have a paid plan too and am using copilot normally, I'm not attaching to it with code or anything and I'm getting a very strange rate limit too. I can't imagine how this is my fault. |

This usually happens because GitHub only allows a limited number of API requests if you’re not logged in (around 60 per hour). If you keep hitting the limit, the best fix is to generate a personal access token (PAT) and use it to authenticate this bumps your limit way higher. If you don’t want to bother with tokens, sometimes just waiting a bit will reset the limit. But if you’re using tools that constantly query GitHub (like npm install, pip, or some CI tools), adding a token is the safest way to avoid the error or adding rate limiting. |
